At SLOW, we believe that coffee is a dialogue, not a monologue. The Coffee Club is our open invitation to the curious, the hackers, and the storytellers of San José del Cabo to step behind the curtain and into our laboratory.
This is not a class. This is not a service. This is a collective exploration.
What to Expect
I. The Toolbench is Yours
Ever wanted to master the Japanese Siphon without the fear of breaking the glass? Or compare a V60 Switch against a Ceado Hoop side-by-side? We provide the gadgets, the scales, the water chemistry, and the space. You provide the curiosity.
II. The "Open Source" Coffee Bar
In the Club, the roles are fluid. You might find yourself tasting a recipe developed by a local architect, or sharing a cup you brewed yourself using a new technique you read about on a coffee blog. It is coffee made by the community, for the community.
III. Legends & Narratives
The best coffee is seasoned with a good story. Our members are a tapestry of San José’s most interesting minds. Expect to hear local legends, travel chronicles from origin farms, and the occasional "ghost story" of a failed roast or a legendary bean that got away.
IV. High-Level Networking
No business cards, just shared passion. Connect with fellow locals, developers, artists, and coffee nerds in an environment where the only hierarchy is the quality of the extraction.
The Fine Print
- Cost: Free (An offering to the coffee community).
- Access: Strictly by reservation. Space is limited to maintain the intimacy of the dialogue.
- Requirement: An open mind and a respect for the gear.
- The Coffee: We provide a selection of beans from our local partners (Hibrido, Tamarindos, Don Rooster) to "play" with.
How to Join the Circle
The Coffee Club operates on a "Confirmation Required" basis to ensure we have enough space for everyone to brew comfortably.
